Molly’s Chef

Molly Butler became so well-known for her genuine hospitality and delicious food that the guest list at the Lodge grew to include such famous Americans as Presidents Herbert Hoover and Teddy Roosevelt, Western novelist Zane Grey, and legendary movie star John Wayne.  In fact, during his stay, President Hoover gifted Molly with the White House Cook Book from which she derived her now Famous Prime Rib recipe.

Fast forward almost a century and Molly’s has been voted one of “101 Best Places to Eat in AZ” and has been named among the “Top 25 Best Restaurants in Arizona” by Arizona Highways Magazine.

Our talented culinary team has preserved the traditional Molly’s guest favorites and created new favorites, including a dish we now call AJ’s Boomer Sooner Chop– a hunk of all natural Pork grilled slow and glazed with succulent cinnamon apple slices.

Molly’s culinary team is always innovating and adding delicious new twists to traditional dishes while remaining true to the comfortable rustic cuisine folks have always enjoyed at Molly’s.  Try his tender Redbird Chicken with it’s savory mystery gravy dancing with sliced mushrooms, or the fresh and flaky Halibut Filet grilled to perfection and served with an addictive Orange White Wine Sauce!
